The Zillertal with its 506 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes and 181 lifts is the largest ski valley in the world. the variety of fantastic downhill runs ranges from wide pistes with pleasant gradients to demanding routes that challenge even the most experienced skiers. The new valley run to Zell am Ziller is one of the latter and offers an 8.4 km long, partly black run with a slope gradient of up to 50 percent for all ambitious winter sports enthusiasts. From the highest point, the Übergangsjoch, you cover an unbelievable 2,000 metres in altitude to the finish in the valley.
Skiing in the Zillertal is not only about the best runs, but also about the convivial stopover on the large sun terraces or in the numerous excellent huts. Culinary delicacies made from regional, natural products give you strength for further skiing hours. Zillertal specialties are on the menu as well as new creations of contemporary light cuisine.
